To all the people and organizations that wish to act in solidarity with Juan Manuel Martínez Moreno we ask that they spread the following simple and deeply felt news.

Juan Manuel was released from the Ixcotel prison on the 18th of February after spending 16 months unjustly accused of murdering the North American journalist, Bradley Roland Will on Oct. 27th 2006.

For quite some time, Juan Manuel and his family have received threats and intimidation. While in prison he was often threatened and told, “Remember, you have a wife and three kids”. The threats and intimidations continue today which make it important to take action in order to live in peace and freedom.

This is why we are demanding the physical and psychological protection of Juan Manuel Martínez Moreno and his wife, children, brothers, sisters, and parents.

We also demand justice and the imprisonment of the real murderers of Bradley Will, a crime which is depicted in various pictures and clearly shows the participation of Pedro Carmona, Abel Santiago Zárate (el chino), Juan Carlos Soriano (el chapulín), Manuel Aguilar Coello, and Juan Sumano, who have yet to be detained and still enjoy total impunity.   

To help guarantee the safety of Juan Manuel and his right to a life free of harassment and threats and to help demand real justice for Brad Will, please sign and send this letter to the following addresses:

Wir rufen alle solidarischen Menschen  und Organisationen auf  diesen Aufruf zu verbreiten und sich mit Juan Manuel Martinez Moreno zu solidarisieren.
Am 18. Februar 2010 wurde Juan Manuel nach 16 Monaten Haft entlassen. Er wurde ungerechtfertigter Weise des Mordes am US-amerikanischen Journalisten Brad Will am 27.Oktober 2006 beschuldigt.
Während seiner Haft, aber auch in der Zeit danach, haben sowohl er, als auch seine Familie Morddrohungen  und  Einschüchterungen mit dem Hinweis erhalten, dass sie seine Familie kennen . Es ist notwendig aktiv zu werden damit er und die Familie in Frieden und Freiheit leben können.
Wir fordern deshalb den physischen und psychologischen Schutz von Juan Manuel Martinez Moreno, seiner Ehefrau, seiner Kindern, seiner Geschwister, sowie seiner Eltern.
Wir fordern ausserdem ein Gerichtsverfahren und die Inhaftierung der wirklichen Verantwortlichen des Mordes an Brad Will. Diese sind auf verschiedenen Fotografien klar zu erkennen. Sie sind auch  namentlich bekannt: Pedro Carmona, Abel Zarate, Juan Carlos Soriano, Manuel Aguilar Coello und Juan Sumano. Die Täter wurden bis zum heutigen Tag nicht verhaftet und geniessen absolute Straflosigkeit.

Um die Sicherheit von Juan Manuel zu garantieren und seinem Recht auf ein Leben ohne Drohungen und Einschüchterungen Nachdruck zu verleihen,  sowie Gerechtigkeit  für Brad Will zu erreichen . bitten wir Sie diesen Brief zu unterschreiben, zu  verbreiten  und an folgende Adressen zu senden:
