Seeking New Board Members
Article written by
The Chiapas Peace House Project is currently seeking candidates for its Steering Committee (board of directors).
As a small organization with only one staff person, the seven member Steering Committee plays a vital role in the functioning and long term planning for the organization. Members serve two-year terms (with possible re-election), and are actively involved in guiding our social justice solidarity work in Chiapas and in the United States. Each member coordinates a specific aspect of Peace House operations and may lead a separate committee. We are a growing organization that depends on the excitement, involvement, input, skills and experience of all its members. We are seeking candidates with experience in Latin American solidarity work, or other social justice activism. For more information, and for an application, please contact Colin at cbossen@mindspring.com or 773.834.4216.
