 Solidarity with Palestine

For 62 years, Palestine has lived under Israeli occupation, being disposed off their land and denied basic human rights. Millions of Palestinians are living in terrible conditions in refuge camps and thousands have died as a result of the torture and isolation which exists across their lands.

Even though thousands of people across the world have begun to raise their voices against this injustice over the last few years, demanding an immediate end to the occupation, the crimes of the Israeli government continue.

 The construction of Israeli colonies continues as well as the absurd recruitment of Jews from all over the world in order to colonise Palestinian territory. However, at the same time, a military decree has been broadcast in order to put in place a new plan of deportation for the Palestinian population and the destruction of trees and houses in the region of Belen continues.

In order to fortify these plans, the state of Israel must silence the Palestinian resistance and voices of solidarity. A recent example was the attack which the flotilla, carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, suffered at the hands of the Israeli state on the 31st May, leaving almost 20 dead, many more wounded and hundreds kidnapped in international waters.

 We call for the immediate liberation of all those kidnapped, and the more than 10000 Palestinians inside Israeli prisons.

Stop the war crimes of the state of Israel

It is in the hands of the people to stop the occupation of Palestine, for this reason we ask you to act in the following actions:

·  Send this letter to the Israeli embassy in your respective country

· Inform yourself and spread the word, or organise a talk in your community providing information about Palestine and the state of Israel.

 · Participate in delegations of solidarity to Palestine

 · Participate in the global campaign to boycott Israeli products

 · Participate in protests and meetings of protest in your city or country. Use your creativity and skills or those of your group to protest and inform through alternative methods such as theatre, concerts etc….
