Oaxaca Program Coordinator Job Description

Networking with Organizations and Communities
  • Initiating, establish and strengthening relationships with local NGOs and communities. Identify projects for collaboration.  Arrange to meet with representatives on a regular basis, to discuss specific projects, identify volunteer opportunities.
  • Travel to indigenous communities for human rights observation or collaboration on projects

Organizational Development
  • Fundraising (may include grant writing, research, speaking events) with the Board of Directors for the continuation of the Oaxaca Project.
  • Development Oaxaca programming in accordance with local needs and long term Peace House vision.

Writing, analysis, translating
  • Write regular reports and analytical articles for newsletter
  • Coordinate the translation and dissemination of Oaxaca organizations’ human rights reports and urgent actions.
